Sun Ranch — Byron Bay
Sun Ranch
Coopers Shoot
Byron Bay Hinterland, NSW
Black Tie
Dust off the tux and wear your best dress. The grounds are grassy, so choose your footwear wisely. It can get a little cool in August, so a wrap or jacket for the evening is a smart idea.
Buses Arranged
All guests travel to and from Sun Ranch by bus. Two buses run — Byron Bay via Bangalow, and Alstonville. See the bus timetable for times. Buses board at 9:45 PM and leave at 10:00 PM.

Think cold beers, ocean views, pub lunch, and retelling stories from the night before. It's the perfect way to cap off an unforgettable weekend.

Black tie. Long dresses, suits and tuxedos. The ceremony and reception are mostly outdoors on grass — heels can be tricky, so block heels are a good call.
No — parking isn't available on site and the roads around Sun Ranch are narrow, so all guests will travel by bus. Two buses run — one from the Byron Bay Surf Club via the Station Street coach stop in Bangalow, and one from the Federal Hotel in Alstonville — see the bus timetable for times.
Make your way to whichever of the three stops is easiest — Byron Bay, Bangalow or Alstonville — and board there. The one worth planning ahead is the trip home: the buses drop back at those same stops from around 10:00 PM, so it's worth knowing how you'll get from your stop to your bed before the night starts. Taxis and rideshares can be thin on the ground around here late on a Friday, so book ahead if you'll need one. If you haven't locked in accommodation yet, staying within walking distance of a stop makes the whole day easier — there are some suggestions here.
The ceremony starts at 2:30 PM sharp, with arrival at 2:00 PM. Your bus will get you there in plenty of time.
Yes — canapés from 3:00 PM, a seated dinner at 5:30 PM, and drinks throughout.
We're keeping the celebration an adults-only affair — we hope this gives you a chance to relax and enjoy the evening.
Sun Ranch has beautiful covered spaces for every part of the day, so rain or shine we're sorted.
Your presence is the only present we need. If you'd still like to contribute, there'll be a wishing well on the night.
